Toys to Grow On began as a small toy store back in 1954. That’s when Ethelyn Kaplan, a single mom of three small children, took a chance and started her own business. From the very beginning, Ethelyn had one goal in mind: to offer unique toys that feature tremendous play value…and a strong educational basis.

Ethelyn’s children and grandchildren still run the business today! Even though we’ve grown over the years, Toys to Grow On maintains the same personal dedication to our customers that first made us a success.

Every item we carry has been carefully selected and tested by our own child-development specialists. In fact, many of our products are Toys to Grow On exclusives designed by our talented team of toy specialists! Toys are chosen for their ability to spark the imagination, inspire creativity and encourage learning. And, of course, safety, durability and value are always top priorities.
